FINALLY found the perfect
man to marry (at least for me)! Mike and I were married in 1998.
Unfortunately, waited to long to get that done and now we are unable to
have kids. BUT we did find a birthmom who was willing to let us adopt her
child and in August 2000 Tanner was born. We even got to be there for
Tanner's birth!

Still holding onto my teaching
certificate from UNR (and San Jose State)and hope to actually put it to
use one of these days. 1993 started working for a software company in
Santa Cruz as a marketing assistant. Worked up the corporate ladder to a
Worldwide Distribution Marketing Manager, which meant lots of travel,
stress, long hours and burnout. Enjoyed it for the most part, but thanks
to a buyout in 2001 and our moving to Sonora I now get to be a stay at
home mom (and I thought my previous job was HARD!!)I recently retired from
Roller Skating competition; move to Sonora kind of made it necessary but
may begin teaching skating lessons at the new rink they just opened a
couple of months ago.

We are a busy family! In 2000 we
moved out of the Bay Area and bought 6 acres in Sonora. When we aren't
working on remodeling our new home we enjoy water skiing, quads, jeeps,
snowshoeing and gardening. I have two horses that I've been trying to show
and I enjoy it when my two grooms come along to watch! Tanner loves to
ride with mommy, but Mike prefers to keep his feet on the ground.
