I've been married to Greg
Monroe for 15 years. Our daughter, Melissa, is 14. We have also been
blessed to adopt Claire who is 2 now. She was born on my birthday, and I
was able to be there at her birth. She has brought us much joy, as has
Melissa through the years.

I'm working as an admitting
represtentative in an Emergency Department at a hospital near my house.
I've been there for five years, but I only work 20 hours a week since
Claire came into our lives. I really like my job,the people I work with,
and the challenge of never knowing what kind of injury or illness will sit
down at my desk next. My husband owns a janitorial franchise, and works in
the evenings after being with Claire during the day while I
work.

My favorite time of the day is between 3pm and
5pm. I throw together a quick dinner, and then Greg, Melissa and I play
some nine card three handed pinochle (Claire eats a little and then does
her own thing). It's a good time because it keeps us away from the tv
while we eat, and gives us a little family time between my work and Greg's
work.
