Living in Portland

Portland is often referred to as “America's best kept secret,” a big city with a small town feel. Also known as the “City of Roses”, Portland is the fourth largest city on the West Coast and is a thriving technological hub in the greater Pacific Northwest.

Located at the junction of the Columbia and Willamette rivers and situated between the beautiful Cascade and Coastal mountain ranges, Portland is ideally located in relation to places that offer various forms of recreation. In fact, from downtown Portland, it's just an hour and a half to both the Oregon Coast (to the west) and the picturesque Mount Hood (to the east). It is only a half hour from the vineyards of the Willamette Valley and just three hours south of Seattle.

Its mild winters and beautiful summers, breathtaking scenery, location, and outgoing people have all contributed to making Portland a wonderful place to live.
