The following Internet and intranet projects are examples of the types of Web services we offer. Please contact us to discuss your specific project needs. Comprehensive Website and CD — Marine Exchange of AlaskaRDI is currently developing a website and CD for the Marine Exchange of Alaska. The site will be a comprehensive source for maritime services and navigation data, plus selected tide and current information. Marine Exchange of Alaska is a non-profit maritime organization providing information, communications, and services to ensure safe, secure, efficient, and environmentally responsible maritime operations in Alaska. You may view the website at www.mxak.org. Meteorological Data Viewing WebsiteRDI developed a website for posting up-to-date North Slope Alaska weather information, including barometric pressure, humidity, solar radiation, temperature, and wind speed and direction. The data is periodically updated via a cell phone link. The site is hosted by RDI and can be viewed at www.resdat.com/mms. Assessment Management System — Anchorage Water and Wastewater UtilityRDI developed an Assessment Management System for AWWU. The application levies, tracks, and maps water and sewer assessments within Anchorage. This Web-based tool integrates property, GIS, and assessment data in an easy-to-use system which includes information on over 80,000 parcels. Framework for Improvement Web-based Initiative — MOA, Finance DepartmentRDI is providing Internet development support to assist the Municipality of Anchorage in its mission for e-Government. Web-based tools allow municipal decision makers real-time access to core financial data including accounts payable, accounts receivable and, check registry. Other data is made available to the public using the same technology. Infrastructure Transformation Programme Secure Internet Application — BPRDI developed a powerful Web-based project management system for BP. The system provides project and data management support for BP's Infrastructure Transformation Programme (ITP), a massive project to upgrade BP's IT infrastructure worldwide. The system combines GIS and Web-based technologies. The application was designed to allow users a globally accessible, stable, and secure medium for storing documents, tracking milestones, and generating reports on the status of the infrastructure upgrade. This site is for BP's internal use and is only available to authorized users. AnchorageLiveRDI developed AnchorageLive, which uses state-of-the-art GIS technology to display and query local property data. Custom reports are displayed via the Web browser and linked back to the mapping system. The site may be viewed at www.anchoragelive.com/. |
